Our editorial purpose

AFShop publishes original guides, research-based explainers and shopping information designed to help readers make informed decisions. Editorial articles are kept separate from merchant-provided product descriptions and user-submitted comments.

Accuracy and sourcing

Writers use available product information, first-party documentation, public data and direct observations relevant to the topic. Important claims should be supported by named or linked sources where appropriate. Prices, availability and third-party policies can change, so readers should confirm time-sensitive details with the relevant provider.

Bylines and author profiles

Every article carries a visible byline and links to an author profile. AFShop may use clearly disclosed editorial pen names and AI-generated editorial portrait representations. We do not use those portraits to claim a real-world identity, qualification or employment history.

Independence and affiliate disclosure

Some pages contain affiliate links. AFShop may earn a commission after a qualifying action, without increasing the reader’s price. Commercial relationships do not guarantee favourable editorial coverage.

Updates and corrections

Articles show their original publication time and, when substantially revised, an updated time. We do not change dates merely to make old content appear new. Corrections are made when reliable evidence shows that published information is inaccurate.

Comments and community content

Comments are moderated before publication. Web addresses submitted in comments are displayed only as plain text and are never turned into clickable links.
